Heidi Watney, born May 19 1981, is an American sportscaster from the United States. One of her achievements was being a National Merit Scholar, and she attended the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003, she graduated with high honors. 2. Watney has participated in the Miss California USA pageant, in which she was the initial finalist in 2002. Watney began her job at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. She started as the morning traffic reporter and then moved into the weekend sports anchor and the weekday sports reporter in 2005. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a journalist for LA Galaxy. In November 2012, the reporter was appointed by MLB Network.
