Ruth Wilson

Ruth Wilson, a Golden Globe Award-winning actress, and a two-time Olivier Award recipient, made her Broadway debut in the role of Jake Gyllenhaal in Nick Payne's Constellations. Her most well-known role is her character Alison Lockhart in the Showtime series "The Affair" (Golden Globe Award). Some of her films include The Little Stranger, Dark River, I Am the Pretty Thing It Lives In the House as well as Suite FranASSaise Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger as well as Anna Karenina. Both of them at the Donmar Warehouse she won Olivier Awards, Best Actress in Anna Christie, opposite Jude Law as well as Best Actress in A Streetcar Named Desire with Rachel Weisz. The National Theatre has nominated her to win the Olivier Award as Best Actress in Hedda Gabrieller. Wilson was a part of BBC's "Luther," nominated for eight Emmy Awards. The BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre," she received nominations from both BAFTAs and Golden Globes as Best Leading actress. In 2007, the actress made her London debut on Maxim Gorky's Philistines at the National Theatre.
