Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. She is most well-known as the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was a Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar and events such as the discussion of raising the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision concerning Obamacare in addition to the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. The journalist was hired by CNN in 2007 as a national reporter for CNN Newsource.
